Established in 1997, by Mr. Bernard Azria, the initial intention was to create and develop an audiovisual trade culture based on integrity and respect of intellectual property rights within a regional context of rampant piracy. Mr. Azria is a highly respected African entrepreneur with rich and extensive experience in areas of event management, marketing, advertising, communications and sales.

CÔTE OUEST distributes annually to 75 TV channels over 42 markets an average of 20,000 hours of programs, mostly soap operas and telenovelas, but also feature films, series and TV movies, not to mention the animation targeting youth. CÔTE OUEST is also the exclusive distributor of Brazilian giant producer GLOBO TV for Africa and the French overseas territories, and distributes annually nearly 500 hours of telenovelas dubbed in French and English.
