With the blessing of the Dozos hunters, Koyaka, a veteran, came to power through a coup d'état. He reigns supreme master at the head of the Gulf Republic and establishes a most ferocious dictatorship: political arrests and assassinations, ritual crimes, embezzlement, abuse of power, violation of human rights... After more than 21 years of suffering and tears, the people of this imaginary country decide to take their destiny in hand to establish a true democracy. The one who proclaimed himself President Marechal ended up being overthrown by the people. He then found refuge in his village with his last henchmen, from where he planned to lead a counter-offensive to regain power. Will he succeed? Will this revolted people eventually give in? So many questions that will find a follow-up in this satirical film directed by Missa Hébié (Tampy police station, Le Fauteuil, etc.) and adapted from the famous novel "En attendant le Vote des Bête Sauvages" by the writer Ahmadou Kourouma.
