At the twilight of his life, this old griot wants to tell the young Mabo Kéita the origin of his Name. A name that evokes an entire epic, that of the founder of the Mandingo empire, Soundjata Kéita, the son of the buffalo woman... Mabo's imagination brings this legendary thirteenth century back to life. Captivated by history, he went to hooky school to better listen to the old griot.
