Scenic Route

Synopsis



Mitchell and Carter, two long-time friends. Mitchell was rather intellectual, at a stable job; a well-ordered family life and money in his bank account. Carter, on the other hand, is a failed, plump and unattached writer. They left for a hike and found themselves broke down on an isolated road in the middle of the desert. As the hours go by and help is slow, the differences and tensions between our two friends rise to a climax. Very quickly their hike becomes a survival operation. Where instinct overrides friendship. "Scenic route" is an attractive psychological film, featuring wild, hostile nature, where the days are hot and the nights cold.
